To supervise employees working in the assigned areas of responsibility within the Configuration
Department. Maintains the accuracy and completeness of assigned projects and programs per
Partnership and State of California Medi-Cal guidelines and department director instruction. Develops
and executes program improvements aligned with strategic priorities. To provide overall project
support for planning, implementation, testing, and coordination of configuration enhancement
work plans. Develops reports and presents information to Configuration department leadership.
Provides leadership, coaching, and coordination for assigned Partnership projects and programs.
Responsible for execution and ongoing development of the Configuration training and audit
programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides daily direction to direct reports and is responsible for supervision, including
timecards, performance discussions, mentorship, and development plans.
Interviews and participates in the selection of qualified candidates for Configuration staff.
Supervision of system configuration activities and projects
Reviews, approves, and provides feedback on completed system changes and
enhancement work plans received from the configuration staff to ensure compliance with
project approval and specifications.
Ensures configuration projects are completed timely/within compliance deadlines.
Provides technical support and guidance for the Configuration training and audit program
Supports configuration staff in development, design, and completion of enhancement
work plans on assigned projects.
Reviews, modifies, and maintains as appropriate, the capitation and fund subsystems
based on Partnership policies and contracts. Coordinates all changes with Partnership Finance
department.
Reviews State of California Medi-Cal OILs/routine Medi-Cal policy updates to
implement system changes required to ensure Partnership compliance with DHCS policy
requirements
Reviews DHCS All Plan Letters (APL) to implement system changes required to ensure
Partnership compliance with DHCS policy requirements
Ensures project inventories are accurate and completed within established department
goals. Reports status and progress on all configuration projects to the Configuration
Manager and Director.
Monitors Configuration staff assignments and assigns configuration projects to staff.
Ensures Partnership system configuration modifications and enhancements are accurate and
completed within established department goals.
Responsible for accurate maintenance of system configuration library and timely
communication of changes to impacted Partnership departments for all assigned Partnership projects
and programs.
Communicates and coordinates all system related changes with IT department.
Participates and assists in the preparation of materials for monthly interdepartmental
configuration meeting.
Other duties as assigned.
