IT Project Coordinator

Overview

To coordinate application request review meetings with IT Leadership, maintain detailed schedule
of IT projects, provide project status reports, oversee the application request process and ensure
that System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process is followed.

Responsibilities

  • Participates and prepares materials for the IT Steering Committee.
  • Facilitates IT Steering Committee Meetings when needed.
  • Coordinates with all IT Teams to ensure IT Projects on Workfront system are up-to-date.
  • Facilitates IT Manager project review meetings.
  • Provides weekly status reports on the overall health of IT Portfolio.
  • Tracks IT project schedules to ensure they are up to date.
  • Audits documentation to ensure required documentation is completed correctly and the
    SDLC process is followed.
  • Serves as project manager of other projects as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Four year college degree in Business Administration, Computer
Science, Engineering, or relevant field. Three (3) years of relevant
experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Business
Analyst.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Good knowledge of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to
interpret and communicate technical requirements to management and
development teams. Detail oriented and strong organization skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Performance Based Competencies

Ability to learn quickly. Ability to present information in a clear and
understandable manner. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to
work on multiple assignments simultaneously and to complete projects
within established timeframes. Must be able to work in a fast paced
environment and maintain courtesy and composure when dealing with
internal and external customers. Ability to prioritize work load and initiate
action to acquire needed information. Ability to function effectively with
frequent interruptions.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

More than 70% of work time is spent using a computer. Ability to lift,
carry, or move objects of varying size, weighing up to 25 lbs.
