To manage daily operations of the Provider Relations department including personnel and operational responsibilities. Ensure PR department is compliant with regulatory requirements and network reporting. Coordinate NCQA activities with QI department. Primary liaison with Northern Region office staff.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or a related field; minimum five (5) years of experience in a managed care environment; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications | Thorough knowledge of HMO operations and processes. Knowledge of Medi-Cal/Medicaid and Medicare. Knowledge of Medi-Cal providers and healthcare insurance applications. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web-based functions. Valid California driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance compliant with PHC policy are required to operate a vehicle and travel for company business.
