Overview

To be responsible for executing and managing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training
programs and initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge and performance of the company,
network provider, subcontractors, downstream subcontractors, etc. Participates in DEI training
meetings. Supports DEI Training all plan letter requirements set forth by DHCS. Supports
monitoring of training completion of Partnership staff, network providers, subcontractors,
downstream subcontractors etc.

Responsibilities

▪ Stays up to date with industry trends, research, and best practices related to DEI.
▪ Collaborates with the Health Equity and Human Resources departments, organization
leadership, department heads, and community leadership to identify DEI training topic
needs to update training.
▪ Develops or manages a DEI training strategy to ensure timely completion of DEI
trainings with internal staff, network providers, and subcontractors.
▪ Assesses the impact and effectiveness of DEI training programs through feedback,
assessment, surveys, and data analysis.
▪ Participates in NCQA accreditation and DHCS Quality Measure performance
improvement activities that are related to DEI training requirements.
▪ Participates and works with other departments on cross-departmental initiatives that
require DEI training input/participation.
▪ Supervises employees who will be reviewing the Cultural and Linguistic-Delegate
activities and/or precept DEI-related interns/students as needed.
▪ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred; At least a minimum of three (3) years of
experience working directly in DEI initiatives with a proven track
record of developing and implementing successful training programs;
or any combination of education, training, and four (4) years of
experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Knowledgeable in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS),
Electronic Learning platforms, online learning programs, and industry
leading virtual learning programs

 

 

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Strong understanding of DEI Principles and Concepts, theories, and
best practices; Excellent compliance management skills; Excellent
verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey DEI
concepts and engage with various stakeholders; Ability to assess the
effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and use data for
continuous improvement. Valid California driver’s license and proof of
current automobile insurance compliant with Partnership policy are
required to operate a vehicle and travel for company business.

 

 

Performance Based Competencies

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain cognizant
of the daily project management queue and the need to be compliant
with timeliness.

 

Work Environment And Physical Demands

More than 80% of work time is spent in front of a computer monitor.
Must be able to work in a high pace and high intensity environment.
Hybrid or fully remote eligible

HIRING RANGE:

 

$93,690.86 - $117,113.58
