To assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of professional, facility, and
ancillary contracts for the PHC provider network. The Contract Coordinator will also be
responsible for supporting daily contracting activities as follows:
Education and Experience | Experience with medical provider contracting using various

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications | Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of managed care, contracting, policies and procedures. Requires knowledge of business software applications, specifically EXCEL and WORD. Must be computer proficient. Eye for detail and accuracy.
|
Performance Based Competencies | Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize assignments, maintain effective filing systems, and meet deadlines. Ability to use good judgment and to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.

Work Environment And Physical Demands | Ability to use microcomputer keyboard and 10-key calculator. More than 80% of work time is spent at a video display terminal. Ability to operate a vehicle used for company business. When required, ability to move, carry or lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
